The Antique Ensemble, one of the leading baroque ensembles in Israel, has since its inception in 2006 performed many seldom heard masterpieces of the baroque era, with a special emphasis on French baroque music. The ensemble offers some of the finest moments in early music, with interpretations that are at once refined and innovative.

We believe that the concert hall is not a museum in which music is placed in a glass cage, but rather a place where artists gather to celebrate our musical heritage, to enrich the art of performance and realize the beauty inherent in the music. The present day performer refuses to die!
